Obituary

Roy Clay Drennen, 47, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Friday afternoon, April 29, 2022, at his residence.  He was born October 28, 1974 in Morehead, Kentucky to James Francis, Jr. and Brenda Jean Muir Drennen.

Roy was a Montgomery County Native, of the Christian faith and a contractor in the construction industry.  He enjoyed all sports but especially UK football and basketball, fishing and his pride and joy was his daughter, Salem.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Roy is survived by his father; Jim Drennen of Mt. Sterling; mother; Brenda Muir Drennen of Winchester; daughter; Salem  Drennen of Owenton; brother; Joseph "Jody" Drennen of Winchester; sister; Angel Drennen of Lexington; niece; Courtney Seales (Nick) of Mt. Sterling; nephew; Preston Drennen of Winchester; great nephews; Hunter Seales and Hayden Seales, both of Mt. Sterling; special friends; Teresa McGinnis and Taylor McGinnis both of Inez, Kentucky.

Private Family Service will be held.
