Obituary
Brenda Joyce Cox, 74, of Wellington, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 11, 2023, at Ridgeway Nursing Home, Owingsville, Kentucky. She was born on April 13, 1948 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Jack and Thelma Combs.
Brenda was a resident of Wellington for thirty-eight years following her move from Dayton, Ohio where she was raised. She was a graduate of Kiser High School, member of Dayton Central Bible Methodist and homemaker for her family. She enjoyed church activites and was a member of Church Community Outreach. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Brenda is survived by her son, Anthony (Tony) Joseph Nienabler and his wife Jennie Talley Nienaber; three grandchildren, Ashley Nienaber, Cassie Parrish and Clint Belcher; two great grandchildren, Victoria Wray and Landen Belcher; brother, Steven Scott Combs; two sisters, Linda Rivera and Kathy Young.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Cox and her brother, Jack Ross Combs.
Celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
